Tools Menu?

Just beginning with FC, so looking to adjust the settings. Many tips and items start with 'got to Tools menu.... etc etc' But I do not have a 'Tools' menu item [dropdown] All I have is 'Extras' and the 'settings' item in this drop down is different to all the examples given on the site, it seems to be missing just those items I want to 'set'! I have XE version, on W7. H

Are you sure you have the XE version? Which build exactly and which language are you using?

Very old versions had "Extras" instead of "Tools" item, they are the same, but if you have Extras, then it might be the obsolete language file or old version, so please download the latest XE version from the homepage.

"Extras" was changed to "Tools" some time ago.

Well all, despite installing what I thought was an XE version [english] I in fact had 2009 02b. Just how that happened I don't know. Maybe because I didn't have an UNZIP tool until I had FC...
Obviously after uninstalling, and installing XE all the menu items were as expected.
So thanks for all your tips.
