FreeCommander Forum

Hi, I have just downloaded FC portable version (build 650) and can't get Drag & Drop or copy/paste to work properly.
I have tried about every combination of options in settings-file folder operations but nothing seems to make any difference.
If I drag a file/folder from one FC window to another it shows an icon with a + on but nothing happens when I release the mouse button and if I use the right-click pop-up menu and select cop or move, nothing again.
Using copy/paste from the right-click pop-up menu on a selected item does nothing and same with 'Ctrl+C' & 'Ctrl+V'
Only thing that does work is using the buttons in the center bar.
I have searched the forum for this and a few people seem to have had similar questions in the past but I can't find a solution that works for me.

I suppose its a settings problem

press F12 --> File/Folder Operations --> Drag&Drop --> activate it here

I already have both drag & drop options selected in there and have also tried all the 'use windows' or 'use freecommander' options under the general tab but no difference.

Update, came back to the PC and everything seems to have started working properly, are some changes only set after a program or PC restart ?
