I'm sure I'm not the first or the last
I can see I'm in the company of people who go back the odd 30+ years here. Is there any way of using a keyboard shortcut to start FC (for preference windows_E).
Thanks
Any way to start FC using Windows_E keyboard shortcut

Tools based on Autohotkey can do that.
I use QAP and have several Windows key combinations in use.

You can also just run a small Autohotkey script for just this one pupose
but QAP can do much more.
It even supports FC for its basic functions.

Another alternative, easier to use, is the HotkeyP, free, open source and safe.
Just unpack and run, you'll need to save the .htk file.
In menu - Hotkey - select "Insert new".
In the first hot key field type E and check Win on the left, in the Command field add the path for FC, you can use the [...] button to find it, OK, that's it.
Of course, it has lot of other useful features, read the Help for more info.
