it is possible to maintain "unsorted" view when sorting on name/date/size

Don't know if this question can be explained, but will try in easy way:
currently, in FC, if you click View -> sort by -> Name (cntrl+f3), files and folders are sorted by name but folders are displayed on top (or bottom) and not in between the files. I call this step (a)
If you then choose View -> Sort by -> Unsorted, then files and folders are displayed alfabetically, and no sub order is done (so no separation between files and folder) - thats what I like . I call this step (b)
now, for example, if you want to switch temporary to sorting on date/time (cntrl+f5), then we are back to step a again.
Now, the question:
Is it possible to have view (b) always on, no matter if you sort on name/date/size etc?
In other words: always have a mixture of files and folders?
Maybe embed this in a global setting or something?
Hope its clear what I mean.
Thanks,
