Hello everybody,
I have a problem with sorting files in other profiles than the default.
I created a profile for the plain view with Name, Path and Size columns.
It is automatically activated when using the plain view (OK).
In the relative profile settings page I can set per each column the sorting order to be applied when the column is highlighted (OK).
What I cant do is to choose which column is highlighted by default when the plain view is entered.
I always have to click on the Path header, otherwise it is by default sorted by Extension (like the default view), which is not even selected...! (...and yes, I save the settings after choosing the column)
Can anybody please help me?
Regards, Marco
I'm running the portable 810 on Win10 1903

Re: Sorting files im plain view
Do you have created the plain view column profile and plain view for automatic views?
For Column profiles create "Plain view", condition "<plain>", add columns you want, probably you have this already.
For Automatic views create "Plain view" item, condition "<plain>", view type "Details", column profile "Plain view", sort on "***".
*** - here you can choose default sorting option / column, name, size, path...
Another useful option is the "Lock view", create this toolbar button and you will be able to lock the current view/sorting, even if you change the view/tab.
