I would like to see if I can get FC to show thumbnails of each graphic file (jpeg, png, etc.) but icons for all my text & pdf files.
Is this possible?

Re: How to view only one window/tab at start, instead of two?
Never mind. I had a right click option to see only one panel, and I took that, so this is resolved.

How to view only one window/tab at start, instead of two?
I'm sure this is mentioned somehow, but I didn't see in the options, or in the online help, how to do this. When I open up FC (I am on XC 2020 840), I see two panels. I have the quick access (Favorite) links on the left side, but then two panels with directories. I only want to see one panel. How ca...

Re: Eliminating one row over right pane
Thanks.
If I decide I want that extra row later on, at least I know how to bring it back.

Eliminating one row over right pane
Just started working with FC XE 2015. I like what I see, but there is one row that I'd like to get rid of if I can. It is over the right pane, above the file icons, and just below the row that has all the drives. In the screenshot below, it is circled in red (D/Manuals), and simply tells me what the...

FC Continues to open up TWO tabs in right pane
FC insists on opening up two tabs in the folder pane. I went so far as to delete the one folder that was being opened (in addition to the one that I've told FC to open up). Now, it continues to open up that unwanted folder, but now I have to click an error message saying that the system cannot find ...

Re: Larger spaces for icons in right-pane?
I am running Windows 7. I have normal, default system fonts and sizes. Apart from MS Word, I don't think I've ever changed a font size in Windows or in a browser. I couldn't see in FC where to change the system font/size. At any rate, yes my concern was valid. In thumbnail view (which I just tried) ...

Re: Larger spaces for icons in right-pane?
OK I checked the INI file, and sure enough, the thumb spacing there is set to 90 (y axis, which would be the one that adjusts the spacing for icons in the columns (vertical axis). I really don't know why the icons are like this. Just in case this matters--we're talking about thumbnail settings, but ...

Re: Larger spaces for icons in right-pane?
I've set the y axis up to 90, and still I don't see any difference. Each row appears scrunched up against the higher row. I hit Apply as well as OK.

Larger spaces for icons in right-pane?
How can I get more space between folder icons in the right-pane view? They appear all scrunched together, with the top of one row's icons touching the next higher row's folder titles.

Re: How to make toolbar icons bigger
You're right. Even for my version number, I was able to select the Standard toolbar, and then select the big icons and change the size number. Thanks for letting me know about that.

How to make toolbar icons bigger
I right-clicked on the toolbar, and then clicked on the customize action toolbar option. I did see an option to have large icons, but this was greyed out, and so was the changing from 18 for the button size. Is there some way to be able to change these settings? And is this the only way to get large...

Re: Reverting from beta to 2009.02b; want to save settings
OK thanks. I'd like to save all my settings/toolbar icons etc. Is there a way to do this? Or do I have to start from scratch? Probably you don't need to do anything because (as far as I know) FC-XE keeps its settings separately from FC2009. In other words, you can have both versions installed at the...
