Re: 723 Clicking to rename
Not that I ever use double clicks for renaming, preferring F2, but slow double click doesn't work at all with 724, 64bit; doesn't matter if in list, detail or structurless views. I even set the Windows mouse double click speed at maximum to better accommodate slow double clicks. Works only when usin...

Re: Structurless views icons do not toggle when in address b
My apologies: my signature was not up-to-date. I've tested with 724: it does not work. Nor does it work for a colleague of mine. Structured view icons.png I just tested with FreeCommander XE 2016 Build 715 32-bit public and this is clearly an ancient bug that has remained in hiding for generations. ...

It used to be that the donor version was beta - is this still the case? (I see no sign of "beta" in the About of FC: "FreeCommander XE 2016 Build 724 64-bit donor"

Structurless views icons do not toggle [FIXED IN 726]
The structurless views icons (aka, Plain view - files/folders/files, folders ) lose their toggle function when placed in the address bar or in the splitter. STR: Add any of the Plain view icons to the address bar In structured view, click on the Plain view... icon > view changes as expected and icon...

Option to position "one tree for both panels" on the right
Selecting Settings | View | Tree > File system/Favorite items tree = "one tree for both panels" automatically anchors the entire tree on the left of the file system panels. If there is not a parameter to place the tree on the right, could you please consider implementing this option?

Re: Show close button on inactive tabs
Thanks for you input. I can easily unintentionally middle-click when using the touchpad buttons on my notebook/laptop. (Am I the only one out there using those things?) That is one reason for this feature request.Dreamer wrote:I can't middle click by mistake.

Re: Show close button on inactive tabs
I voted No, not needed . I would have voted No, 'cause I really hate closing tabs by accident , but there was no such option in this poll.To be fair, I understand that we have different needs, but if this option is added, I really hope it would be just that, an option, so I can disable it asap. She...

Re: Favorites text too large - wont stay smaller.
Some behavior details which may be helpful: Only the Favorites Tree font size is affected. The File System Tree does not change even when both trees are visible. The change takes place as soon as the Settings menu is opened , as seen in the preview of the View|Tree > Colors/Fonts/Icons tab. The fon...

693 - Compare: Values in "Windows" Columns vanish
Is this intentional? Problem: When using Compare when "Reload both lists before compare" is active, values in Windows native columns disappear; FC column values are retained. Prerequisite: For ease of testing, define a column profile "ColumnBugTest" which includes both FC columns...

Re: quick filter and directories
True enough: using Plain View - files or Plain View - files. folders with the quick filter certainly works and is quite useful, but it can be a bit tedious switching between views. One could use the Tree View as well to drill down into subfolders with the quick filter active and the option "Dea...

Re: Drag and Drop to "Drives"
Yup - this works in the previous version (2009.02b) so it's hopefully just a matter of time, however as mentioned elsewhere "FC XE uses a Drag and Drop Component by Anders Melander, http://melander.dk". which in some (many?) cases does not exhibit the same behavior as in FC 2009.02b. Worka...

Re: Spacer bars in headers not visible in Build 611
It is indeed interesting! Further troubleshooting has revealed that this is not explicitly an FC setting (reverted to default profile by deleting %userprofile%\Application Data\FreeCommanderXE), but there is some difference between FC XE and the previous release using the same visual settings for XP...

Spacer bars in headers not visible in Build 611
They are visible in the status bar and in Build 2009.02b.
