In Process Explorer you can open (per double click on FreeCommander row) the Properties dialog.
You could check the "Threads" tab if some FC threads have high CPU usage.

In the "TAB Properies" dialog I see comment to the "Tab name" field: Leave empty for using current folder name.

It works for me with FreeCommander XE on Win7/64.Once the DOS window is open, I can go to Properties > Layout > Window position to set this, however this setting is ignored by Freecommander.

If you like hidden folders in some color, than set the order of the "hidden" before "folder".

The option is not in the settings dialog.i do not see this option "Preserve file/folder timestamp" for copy/move operation
You can find the option in the copy/move dialog at the bottom.
It is important that you use the option "Use FreeCommander" for copy/move operation.
