Synchronous Scrolling Option
Currently Linked Browsing is available under "Folder" menu item. I would very much like to see another feature called "synchronous scrolling". What this option does is scroll both pane simultaneously by sliding the scrollbar of either pane up/down. The two panes need not contain ...

Re: Textpad as external editor
I can confirm this behavior (e.g. 2 selected files are opened together with 2 blank files) using Notepad2 and "+" parameter (that allows multiple files to be opened simultaneously). + "%ActivSel%" I can't reproduce this with notepad++. I opened two files with %ActivSel% as param...

clicking drive button doesn't go to root except FcSrcDrive
In FC2009 for ALL drives and in FCXE, for %FcSrcDrive% only, clicking on the drive bar button takes me to the root of that drive. But in FCXE clicking (or double clicking) on other drive bar buttons doesn't do anything. I have to double click on empty space multiple times to go back to root drive.

Problem with colors under select items option
The issue is serious for windows XP. Under W7 it is a minor one. I have detailed list views. I have checked options for single click file open, unchecked both full row select and use windows colors. Under XP the full row in file list is highlighted (selected/focused) with appropriate color instead o...

FCXE creates TAB if started from command line
have disabled tabs (uncheked "always keep", checked close not all locked ..etc). But if I launch FCXE via command the line: FreeCommander.exe -L="folder1" -R="folder2" then FCXE starts with folder1 and folder 2 in tabs. There should never be any tabs unless I intentiona...

Re: Address Bar History not saved on exit
@FCLover The history works properly if you deactivate the option "Folder history per tab". In the next release the option will be ignored if no tabs exists. Solution, finally! You were my last hope. Nobody else seemed to understand my problem or suggest the solution. Yes, I also think thi...

Re: Address Bar History not saved on exit
Unfortunatelly, I can not reproduce your problem. Maybe you could send me your freecommander.ini. Hi Marek, I have pm'ed you my FreeCommander.ini. Please note that I never use Folder Tabs (In either FC2009 or FCXE). I don't need tabs, as I can use the drive buttons, favourite folders and File List ...

Re: Address Bar History not saved on exit
For me the option "Keep at least one tab" (BTW I have "Always keep one tab open") is not important. Try to enable the option "start with last used folders" in Start program > Start folder. I think this option causes the bug. Also disable the option "Close all not ...

Re: Address Bar History not saved on exit
IMHO it's not a bug, because if the tab is closed by option, also history should be removed. ... FC 653 donor, Win Vista 32 bit. Well, in FC2009b I had tabs disabled (unchecked "Keep at least one tab") but the address bar retained history on exit. So why not in FCXE?. I don't see why on F...

Re: Address Bar History not saved on exit
[quote="joby_toss"]Can't replicate your issue, must be something else. Try these ones: Didn't solve the issue. I always uncheck "always keep one tab" because I don't like/use tabs. Just for debugging I did check that option and used the other options you suggested. Didn't change ...

Address Bar History not saved on exit
I have disabled(unchecked) "delete history entries on close" option under general option section. The .ini file sections [HistoryDir1] and [HistoryDir2] do show history entries, but those entries are not recognized by FCXE on start. History is created fresh on every start and lasts only du...

Re: Option to Disable Menu Bar or Dock Favourite Toolbar
You can integrate the drives button in the Address bar . Actually that creates a dropdown list of the drives. Thats not what I want. I prefer fixed buttons over dropdown menu. What I had desired was that the entire drive bar (with C:,D:, E: etc) be placed on the address bar (To the left, as all the...
