Just another 7zip topic — do you have a working plugin? Share it!

Hello there, our beloved FC lacks 7zip feature. OK then. I found severat threads about TotalCommander plugins and some I tried, but most of them are deeply archaic, 10 or even more years old. So I updated them by files from regular 7Zip, but the plugin is unstable. Hey, guys, do you have reasonably ...

Re: Refreshing a folder of image thumbnails afrer deleting file

Can't reproduce it with default and custom settings, in 822, upgrade, if you don't have this vesion. Perhaps check the refresh settings... Thanks for reply. When unchecked the Autorefresh, the scrolling issue is really gone. However the thumbnail refresh after deleting the file still happens. (My v...

Refreshing a folder of image thumbnails afrer deleting file

Hi there, In my deeply loved FC I found one annoying thing: Imagine you have a folder with a large amount of images and the view is set to thumbnails (Ctrl + I). In the middle of this folder I select one file and delete it. And here the trouble comes: After the image is deleted, the scroll is reset ...

When overwriting file — not immediately obvious whether they are same size

Hi there, When overwriting files there are all the necessary information it the Owerwriting-confirm-dialog, which pops up. The arrow and striketrhrouged name of the original file are great. But when I need to know whether the files are the same size — and sometimes several times in a row — I have to...

SUGGESTION for adress field dropdown menu

Hi there, I am not sure what is the proper name for it, but I am talking about the dropdown menu which appears when clicking on the folder in the adress field: https://i.imgur.com/T4P1PS0.png It is awesome and I admire it. But it would be great to elevate it a bit: I was inspired by behaving of the ...

Re: SUGGESTION — Popup dialog when performing backup

Well, You are right to be honest, sometimes, when multicore render in After Effects is launched and the RAM gets bussy, some programs ocasionally crashes. FC could be one of them, so I perform a manual backup to prevent loosing the opened tabs. But the two additional clicks which I am talking about ...

Re: SUGGESTION — Popup dialog when performing backup

Hi ralfso,

this is great idea and I have it enabled. But sometimes you want actual state backed up, (opened folders, FC settings) several times a day.

Reseting the folder of the locked tab

Hi there, I would like to ask for some tip when working with tabs: I have locked tab, with allowed navigation. So I always start on the same folder-position and I can browse another folders with that tab. That is good, but sometimes I want that tab to "reset", or get back to the folder whi...

Slow scrolling long lists

Hi there,

My experience whith scrolling long file-lists (right now for example 3000+ files) is usually choppy and slow, despite they are stored on SSD and my system has plenty of RAM. Is that normal or could be something done with it?

Thank you.

SUGGESTION — Popup dialog when performing backup

Hi there,

I think it would be great to have option to omit the dialog for choosing the folder when performing backup of FC settings. I do it several times in a week to the exact same folder. Maybe to save two additional clicks would be convenient.

Thank you
