Is it possible to activate panel (in case 2 panels are used in FC), just by mouse position. If mouse pointer is on panel 1 , panel 1 becomes active, above panel 2, panel 2 becomes active.
Currently a mouse click is needed to activate the panel.

Re: feature request: save Plain view mode accross FC sessions
Please also save Plain view settings without using locked tabs (meaning: actually always save/retrieve plain view settings when exiting/starting FC)

Re: feature request: display relative path in column in Panel
Another tool, called Directory Opus (https://www.gpsoft.com.au/) has this implemented. Note: it's not a free tool and not as great and great support as FC !

feature request: save Plain view mode accross FC sessions
Currently, if Plain view is enabled, and FC is restarted, Plain view mode is reset to its default value (default value is off). Could FC be extended with an option to save Plain view so its view mode (plain view on or off) is saved and when FC is restarted view mode is loaded from last setting. Than...

feature request: display relative path in column in Panel
Currently only full path is available as column in Panel. Could Relative panel be set in the options as well? Relative path is showing path from current point onward. This is useful in Branch view mode (Cntrl-B) example: panel is opened in D:\documents branch view is enabled all files are displayed ...

Re: questions about FreeCommander functionality
1. Yes, it's the "plain view" in FC, 3 different modes, Ctrl+B shortcut for main mode. 2. You can lock the tab, enable plain view and it will be enabled even if you exit FC. I'm not sure, but perhaps also Layouts must be used, with auto-save option. 3. I'm not sure what you mean, not sure...

Quick viewer doesn't populate all available space
I've got something in the Quick viewer panel: it isn't expanding to max available space. See the marked section in the screenshot.
I've looked but couldn't find any setting to influence this behaviour.

Is this a known issue/ as designed?

possible bug: use one viewer instance
I think I have found a bug: scenario: Tools -> Settings -> View -> Viewer -> enable Use only one viewer instance. No, with 2 panels open, both having a Quickview panel open, - in panel 1, select a document, Quickview is displaying content of selected file in panel 1 (OK); - in panel 2, select a docu...

Hi,
by default the QuickView panel is below the panel - is it possible to reposition it to the right?
if so, how to do that?
thanks,

feature request: Easily switch to Dark Mode
Feature request; I would like to set FC to work in Dark Mode (same looks as in Windows 10 Dark Mode), currently using Color schemes but none of them really really match (I'm sorry to say), also I would prefer for 1 easy setting: Dark Mode on/ off (off meaning switch to default "white mode"...
