Splitter toolbar button to launch an external application
Using FCXE v794 64-bit on Win7. I'm trying to create a toolbar button in the middle of the Splitter toolbar to launch an external application. I didn't see any commands to directly do this. (Let me know if there is one!) So what I did was add the command to the Favorite Tools. Then, in the configura...

Re: Task Scheduler calling Program Compatibility Assistant for FreeCommanderXE (64-bit)
Thanks Odamn-Ete.
I see you checked on Windows 10. I left out an important detail, that I noticed this on Windows 7.
Can anyone check on Windows 7?

Task Scheduler calling Program Compatibility Assistant for FreeCommanderXE (64-bit)
When running Sysinternal's Autoruns ( https://docs.microsoft.com/sysinternals/downloads/autoruns ), I noticed a Task Scheduler entry for FreeCommanderXE 64-bit (on Windows 7). The entry runs the Program Compatibility Assistant (pcalua.exe) as follows: [drive]\windows\system32\pcalua.exe -a [path]\Fr...

Re: My Settings Folder with Modified Color Schemes
Thanks for sharing. Would it be possible to post the file here (just cut and paste), or somewhere more permanent than the current location, so people can still use it in the distant future?

Re: Copy Move Pop Up Dialog Box
Hmmm... the title of your post is "Copy Move Pop Up Dialog Box", but in the text you describe wanting to rename a file on drag and drop. Are you looking to copy or move a file and at the same time be given the option to rename it?

There are 2 topics already: https://freecommander.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=8228 https://freecommander.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=8237 This request is listed in the second topic already, I know it's not easy to find, also because it was renamed from "schemas" to "schem...

Re: Color schemes changes whishlist
Thanks Dreamer. That's a great list. It will be wonderful to see a lot of that implemented.
The biggest one for me is the "Tree node symbol", because it is almost impossible to see with a dark background, which is what I use.

That sounds interesting. Thanks. Are you referring to toolbar icons, or the icon for the FreeCommander application itself?

Re: 792 - Search in subfolders ignored by Duplicate file finder
Confirmed partially in FCXE Donor v7921 (test build after 792) 64-bit on Win7 64-bit ... So, now 1 is equal to 'don't search in subfolders' Thanks Timon. First, I'm not sure what was happening when I originally reported this bug. I could have sworn searching subfolders for duplicates was not workin...

792 - Recommendation - Find Duplicate Files
FCXE v792 64-bit Donor on Win7 What do you think of, by default, selecting 'Same content (MD5 Sum)' when the user checks the 'Find duplicate files' checkbox? Right now, when the user checks 'Find duplicate files', it doesn't actually find duplicate files, because nothing is checked below it. Or, wha...
