Steps to reproduce, use default settings, select image, press Ctrl+Q, F10, another exception after clicking continue and closing FC.

With default settings, when auto views are off, the last used sorting is used. When auto views are on, default view option is used, if any other condition can't be used. I think it's a normal behavior. Workaround - you can use "lock view" to use last used view, use your custom view sorting...
