Try this:
- in menu set the option "Start with last used settings"
- press Esc
- open multi rename window again, select files, press F2
- type [n] in the file name field
- press Esc
- now select files and press F2

confirmed in FC 865 donor version, with default settings only.

I found a way how it should work.

- Settings F12 > File/folder operations > General - for Copy and Move set the option "Use FreeCommander"
- click the OK button
- restart FC

Confirmed with 865.

Works good here with 865.

In 865 it's possible to switch the profiles, but they are not activated.

Enter key automatically rename files, without activating the profile.

It's impossible to activate the profile that way.

In previous versions it was activated automatically, after switching with the arrow keys.

Confirmed with default settings, but it works good with custom settings, in both cases the buttons have the same parameters, it's strange.

Please provide more information, FC version, OS version, color scheme name, screenshots.

This would be useful for audio, video and image files.

Currently it's possible to compare the files and delete duplicates for multimedia files only in the file list, using the appropriate column for sorting, just manually.

It works good here, in 863 64-bit.

You export the results to file container (Ctrl+E), then use quick filter to show only mov files, use *.mov to do this.

Thumbnails are broken here too, FC .lnk file in FC vs Explorer, it's broken in all sizes, it's better visible with smaller sizes, 48 and 64.
