Hi,
When using ZIp Files with "Create one archive per file" the order of the settings will have different results:
Start: All settings are OFF
First Situation:
If you first click "Create one archive per file" and then "Use current folder", the produced files will end up NOT in the current folder ...

Feature-Request: Synchronize Order of "Compare by" Execution
Hi,
It looks like, that when enabling "Name,Size" + Checksum, that all files in source and destination will be checksumed.
Makes not sense in my eyes.
It would be better to first check on Name, Size and then do the checksum only on the files of the result of this.

Re: CSV Integration into Viewer
Thank you, but I wrote it already in my first message, that I am also using CSVFileView. Its the best approach for reading CSV at the moment.
But that why I asked for better internal support, as it would make sense.

Re: CSV Integration into Viewer
to be honest.
The implementation of the viewer plugin is somewhat year 2000 or so.
All settings have to be changed in the .ini, or am I wrong?
eg. If headers are present.
This is something that can change from file to file and needs buttons or whatever.
Dont get me wrong. it is great for stuff you ...

TAB-Order of Dialogs weird/wrong
Hi.
Just today i wondered why I was "moving" through the dialog quite weird with TAB.
As FC is also optimized for keyboard usage, I found the tab usage in this dialog quite weird and I thing it had to be corrected:

CSV Integration into Viewer
Hi,
It would be great if you could add a simple CSV Viewer into the viewer app.
Features would include:
- Different Seperators
- Quotation Support
- Sorting by columns.
I pretty ofter have CSV export, which I would like to just quickly view.
I am using CSVFileView often with this from nirsoft ...

Re: 822 - Folder Specific Column profiles seem not to work on Subfolders
Thats works.
But what I dont get is, the config dialog states "" which means subfolder.
With this aproach it feels more like <mask> direction of the config and not in the ?
Additionally adding a folder with the gui will not do this

Re: 822 - Folder Specific Column profiles seem not to work on Subfolders
One example why it would be bad to force a * at the end:
C:\Temp\Folder1
C:\Temp\Folder1b
If I only want to set a specific rule to the first including subfolders I would not be able to as folder1b would also react. So there is a Good reason for the subfolders setting of FC in this case and it’s in ...

Re: 822 - Folder Specific Column profiles seem not to work on Subfolders
Went again to my pc to check on it.
If I put it to the end of the last foldername, it will then work.
But this function: Does not do it!
And in my eyes with the "subfolder" setting the "*" at the end should not be needed.

Re: 822 - Folder Specific Column profiles seem not to work on Subfolders
I believe you should not have to.
I will try it, but the folder path was added by the dialog itself (save column view for this directory)
The masking is an addon feature as far as I understand it

822 - Folder Specific Column profiles seem not to work on Subfolders
Hi.
Discovered this today:
When using folder specific column profiles, they seem not to work on subfolders, although configured for them.
In my case I added the sizeondisk column to the Onedrive folder, but subfolders will not have the additional column anymore:

Hello Marek,
Actually my windows was missing a second converter from microsoft.
Now the viewer shows the heic.
But one thing we lost in this discussion:
