As FC has many features from Total Commander it should have some of its Tab files functions.
There are commands in TC to store and load set of tabs independend of any other settings
and also in the context menus of tabs.
This can of course also be used in Automatic views.

Why don't you spend a small amount of money to get the x64 version of FC.
It has many benefits to do so.

File menu / Exit or Quit should always close a program regardless of any other options.
All other behaviour is wrong.

That behaviour is standardized but only for icons on the task bar.
From there it also works for the FC.

Is anyone looking into this? It is an annoying problem. That problem doesn't occur here. In all file managers including FC only one entry for Power rename is shown. But this Power toys module crashes after usage with many file managers (Total Commander and Free Commander). only in Windows Explorer ...

I never run into such problems with any of my file managers including FC.
I always save settings manual and not by any automatic function.
So if a crash appears nothing bad happens and all is as saved last time.
Also I can of course restore settings from the past for any of my tools.

The numbers 2 and 3 are even dangerous
because there may be changes I made but they are not yet finished.
So unwanted settings may be saved destroying the current working setting.

Drag and drop the image into your open posting.
Then you can set it to show inline.

its something strange in the current version.
View / Show / Show/Hide folders or Show Hidden Items only works on the inactive side for me.

And why don't we have any version information of your environment ?
Shouild the Author guess it ?

I make this the other way.
Make the wanted folder the current one in FC.
Drag and drop into the FC icon on tha task bar.
You have to wait for the FC window to open before drop.

To my knowledge there is no change of the tab control under Windows 11.
You know the drop-down of the sorted tab list on the right side of the tab bar.
Its sorted and you even can enter the first character of an entry for fast jumping.
