Wow.
I never ever thought to click on those two dots. What a great feature. Perfect. Time to rethink my toolbars.
FC has really come together nicely!
Thank you!

Suggestion: User-defined Popup Menus in Toolbars
Please consider implementing an interface to allow users to build popup ("drop-down") menu lists for custom toolbars. For instance, I would combine all of the thumbnail size commands into one thumbnail toolbar icon for the panel toolbars. Also I would combine copy, move, etc, into one butt...

Options for Layouts
I have been looking forward to the layout functionality for quite a while and am very pleased to find it implemented in recent betas. However, as it is now, I don't expect to be able to make full use of the feature without the following additions. After the user chooses a saved layout from the layou...

Request: Highlight Drill Path in Folder Tree
A competitor product highlights the drill path for the folder tree (see the orange line in the screen capture below). This is very useful and makes working with very deep trees much easier. Please consider implementing this feature! http://img823.imageshack.us/img823/2441/zua8.png As always, thanks ...

Re: Suggestion for Layouts and QuickView Panel Behavior
It make sense with the option "Keep all tabs; ignore layout tabs" only? If I understand you correctly, yes. Currently my layouts are every one "keep all tabs", so I have not encountered the instance where the previous active tab (and previous selection, if there was one) does no...

Suggestion for Layouts and QuickView Panel Behavior
In my posts here I suggested that the QuickView splitter position be saved by file type (media, documents, PDF, etc). Since that has not yet been implemented, I am now trying to use the new "Layouts" functionality to accomplish the same thing. So, I have saved layouts for different positio...

Re: Please support Descript.ion comments
At first glance, Timon's arguments against implementing this feature seem convincing, but FreeCommander offers no alternative method of file labeling/commenting/viewing same. The different methods Timon lists have been prevalent for years. Why not employ one of them? Or perhaps consider an interface...

Hi Marek I am slowly converting from another file manager to FC XE. For most activities, XE offers as much or more functionality as the other tool, and I greatly prefer my custom XE panel layout (Tree-Files-Toolbar-Files-Tree). Thank you Marek, fantastic tool! However... I have been using the other ...

Suggestion: Remove This Column
It would be a convenience if the filelist column-headers' context menu included a "Remove this column" item.
I really like how XE has matured. So flexible! Always open on my desktop, too.
