once again I'd like to say thanks for that option.
unfortunately I found a small bug related to it:
I added "SplitterSwitchSmall=35" to FreeCommander.ini - it works like a charm, but the values are not displayed correctly.

problem still exists. if a folder has focus in folder tree: 1) Ctrl+A does nothing, but it should select all files and folders in the pane (not correct) 2) Ctrl++ does nothing, but it should select all files in the pane (not correct) if I re-assign the shortkeys above: number 1) still does nothing, ...

if you want to do it with FCXE - I have no idea
but you can use xcopy command (blizzing fast - reliable)
example:
xcopy C:\Folders D:\Folders /t /e
(/t --> copy folder tree)
(/e --> copy empty folder as well)
