it must be related to your system, maybe something you have running in the background (what antivirus?). 512MB of RAM is on the minimal side for XP, but it shouldn't choke on a decompression that easily. I just tried it a couple of times, one file was around 76MB, no sign of any slowdown. Let's hear...

In other words, an option to recreate directory structure when copying files from multiple directories, maybe in flat view to make the selections? Or a simpler task, just mirroring the directory structure. It's a nice dream. To tell the truth, it has crossed my mind a few times. There have been requ...

Other dual-pane file managers use it. I was already accustomed to it when I switched from 2xexplorer to FC. It was one of the things th...

There are no tabs, the file is created with spaces. Not so great, but if you need fancier lists there is other freeware available just to make lists. AFAIK there is no way to choose columns. I only use FC for listing when I'm in a hurry :) What font are you using? It has to be monospaced to look hal...

Might be a UAC problem. Win7 is a dog's aunt. Did you copy the whole FC directory or use the installer and just copy the INI files? I didn't try FTP-ing while I was fooling around in 7 for a few days, but I did see that my settings were there. I had copied all from a USB drive that I carry my favori...
