Re: Slow pagedown in detail view
dsperber, Maybe I'm confused, but is your post directed at me or the moderator? I grabbed a screen shot from your video which clearly illustrates the problem I'm seeing and have attached it here. https://1drv.ms/u/s!AvMVzm49G-ZrhwiS2dui5MommNA6?e=Rw6N1X Windows 10 built-in explorer does not do this...

Re: Slow pagedown in detail view
I'm not sure what the issue is here. Using C:\Windows\System32 as the test folder, as it has about 100 folders in it and another about 2900 files, for a total of about 3000 items. I, too, have details view active in my right-pane and Tree active in my left pane. I normally split my screen TOP/BOTTOM...

Urgent: 820-822 (even with default settings) - right-creep tree divider in split-screen lower panel
Marek, I am reporting this yet one more time, as it still remains unfixed in 822. It first appeared in 820, and does not appear in 819. As you have released 821 and 822 I've tried them without success (although the README advised me you still have not addressed and fixed the bug, so I'm not really s...

821 - Repeated F10 causes right-creep of vertical divider in second panel
This was reported before, with 820. It has not been fixed in 821. The program is unusable in this condition when F10 is used twice to toggle split-screen vs. single panel and back to split-screen. Each pair of F10 moves the divider another "incremental unit" shift to the right. Pullin the ...

Re: Creeping Size Of Folder Tree Display In Dual Panel Mode
Unfortunately, this very major bug has not been fixed in 821. I am forced back to 819 once again. Marek, please look into this. It is instantly demonstratable just by having top/bottom presentation with both Explorer Tree and Details panes in both top and bottom (i.e. 4 panes all together). Then tog...

Re: Suggestion: multirename - allow [c] to start from specified value
Well, egg on face. I never noticed those "counter" fields before you mentioned it. Or perhaps I did and somehow never mentally connected this group of "counter" parameters with controlling [c], which is of course on its face now embarrassing. Yes, this is exactly what I was looki...

Suggestion: multirename - allow [c] to start from specified value
I commonly do a multi-rename of new photos, which are actually of food I've cooked. I use Photoshop to perform a mass image processing "script" on a sequence of original photos taken with my phone, where the originals are large dimension (4032x2268) 16x9. I'm using Photoshop to produce a n...

Re: Creeping Size Of Folder Tree Display In Dual Panel Mode
I can not reproduce it. The tree panel size remains the same, even if I use F10 several times. Can you reproduce it with default settings? Is your tree defined as "per panel" or "one tree" for both panels? Since I have a copy of my current settings, it's simple to try a "de...

Re: Creeping Size Of Folder Tree Display In Dual Panel Mode
I had gone back to defaults and then re-customized just a few releases ago. But I will attach a ZIP of my 819 SETTINGS files, where everything works fine with repeated F10. You can install that in your own test world to look at it initially. And then just upgrade my 819 to 820 and re-test. It should...

Re: Creeping Size Of Folder Tree Display In Dual Panel Mode
Just went back to 819 and it's fixed. So it's definitely something in 820. Also, before I reinstalled 819 I had noticed this "divider creep in my lower panel" simply when opening and closing the program. In fact I hadn't noticed the same symptom from using F10 repeatedly (although I always...

Re: Creeping Size Of Folder Tree Display In Dual Panel Mode
Absolutely, occurs with 820 for me as well. I have top/bottom dual-panel display mode. When I use F10 (or button) to present or hide split-screen mode, the vertical divider in the lower panel which divides Explorer Tree from Details pane keeps sliding to the right every time I toggle it. I upgraded ...

Re: Slow pagedown in detail view
always I can see how the freecommander is showing itself then moving the columns appropriately and so on. I can easily see how it is "painted" Do you have "auto-resize columns" active? If you do, and you disable that feature and simply manually position your column dividers into...

Re: Feature-Request: Support HEIF/HEIC Files for EXIF Informations (Rename) and viewer
Not quite per this subject, but I had posted a similar feature request (in another thread here) a while back to include FLAC files (like MP3) for multi-rename. FLAC tags are not ID3 format tags like are in MP3 files. FLAC tags are actually "Vorbis comment" format tags. Precisely defined, a...

Re: 816: left-right vs. top-bottom sub-menu MISSING from View -> Layouts
Hadn't remembered or noticed that. It's probably how I did it many years ago. So clearly that is ANOTHER VERY EASY WAY TO ACCOMPLISH THE OBJECTIVE. Thanks for the heads-up. Also, this corresponds primarily to: MainSplitterOrient=0/1 in the INI file. Another piece of useful and valid information. But...

816: left-right vs. top-bottom sub-menu MISSING from View -> Layouts
Brand new, from scratch install of FCXE 816, resulting in "100% factory default INI" when the program is first launched to be customized. According to HELP, if you hover the mouse on View -> Layouts, you should see a flyout sub-menu that is supposed to offer three layout options at the bot...
