NOT confirmed in FC XE 650 under Windows XP 32 bit. AkelPad is used to edit text files.

It is set once and after that it is taken from FreeCommander.ini. For me it is always shown in Russian. I already told Marek about it.

Use Backspace for fast changing current directory to one level up (it is default, you don't need to set it).

Also please check in what format are you trying to pack files? Total7Zip DOES NOT support RAR for PACKING! Right mouse click or Alt+Enter on a file or folder works fine.

one more problem (NC-Mode is used) #9 - switch to nc-mode - no matter what you use - 'Use FreeCommander' or 'Use Windows' for deleting files/folders - select one/more files - press F8 of Shift+F8 or Shift+Ctrl+F8 after you see confirmation dialog for deleting files press Cancel - there are no files ...

As I think it is logical that you move folder up, because cursor in that case is at [..] element! If to change logic, and there would be one or more selected files in a folder, it would be impossible to get out of the directory by pressing the Enter key on [..] element.

Problem with Function keys was fixed in FC XE 647 (not released yet)
