Those backups are created also automatically, even normal users use it, but I didn't say I'm against the change, just that it's not so important for me, decision is on Marek.

It's the same here, but I think it can't be fixed, it's the same in other tested phpBB forum, Firefox, Windows 10.

Why not search for the file in FC and just drag&drop here?
