Rename Error Recovery: can you retain the proposed changes?

Sometimes, when I am working in Free Commander 396 and have pressed the F2 key to rename either a file or a folder, and then type in the proposed changes to the information that I would like to put in place, I will get an error message indicating that the rename operation cannot be done at that spec...

I am assuming sklorpion is asking for the ini files to be attached to the post so they can be saved for those who desire it not needing to copy/paste to make your the ini files which would also make the posts easier to read. I had not considered that. I made the assumption that it would be quite ea...

Glad it helped out. That's what's great about message boards such as this. We can assist each other and provide information that may be useful.

Enjoy

Sounds like a cool idea. I need to go look into that Teracopy thing.

Hanging in there. I would have thought that 2009.1 would be out in January. I'm sort of guessing that it'll pretty much be the same as Beta396, only with a few extra fixes?

Would be nice to share the goodness of a final version with everybody. It's a great app.

I'd still very much like to see these implemented. Anyone care to fill us in on when the next beta is coming? I'm looking forward to it.

Thank you much.

This part in an INI is cool. What I like is, I can create different layouts (and custom column settings) for different window sizes so it makes taking Screen Shots that I can share with other people in forums easier. Most forums have either a 1024x768 or an 800x600 maximum in-line image size, so by ...

http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/circa Is it really so important when FC 2009-01 or new version comes out? I think Marek will present them when they are ready and don't think he made a precise project-roadmap. Thanks for the link. And yes, I think those folks who are not in the Beta program could real...

The next release ( I think in ca. 4 weeks) will be the last version of the first-generation development. I work already on the FreeCommander second-generation. By the way - what does the CA stand for in: ( I think in ca. 4 weeks ) I'm not at all sure what it means or signifies and was hoping you co...

It's good to have that figured out. BTW, have you considered releasing Free Commander First Generation (through...

Still no answer.

I had hoped for one.

Please reply soon, if you would. I would appreciate it.

I would prefer to have the option to specify that the INI should be stored WITH THE INSTALL of the actual application. I'm a single user on my PC and I don't want to fuss with all that "roaming profile" and multi-identity stuff. I really like having one single INI that is in the same folde...
