Confirmed, when I change the option to "left panel", after restart it's "active panel", always. I tried also to run FC as administrator before changing the option.

You can use also the keyboard shortcut.

When using "fast mode" in viewer, then in quick view aspect ratio is NOT correct! Some images look really weird. Perhaps it's a behavior of the fast mode, but it should not be a default option at least IMHO. If you can't fix it, please use "quality mode" by default at least.

OK, use default settings plus:

- use 'List' view
- disable option 'Use dialog window for left button drop'
- enable all options in Settings > Select items (300 for Hover time)

- disable dialog for rename option - rename any file, abc.zip for example = the file is moved between the folders - after refresh, it's OK - disable dialog for rename option - rename the .lng = the file is moved between the folders and icon is changed to folder icon - after refresh, it's OK Win Vist...

Thanks, it works, but:

- only as fav. item, not as fav. category - I'd like to have "Games" item in fav. tools with the menu of all items (games) inside this folder

- also in system dirs "Games" item that opens the Games dir in the current pane would be useful
