Re: Drag & Drop File
When I drag & drop a file from XnView, it does indeed transfer, but FCXE doesn't display it until you manually refresh or you open another program window in front (over top) of FCXE. That suggests a paint error to me.

Drag & Drop File
Hello! In old FC, I was able to drag attachments out of Thunderbird into an FC pane and the file would move normally. Normally I can drag attachment files from Thunderbird into Windows Explorer. But the new FCXE doesn't seem to use the Windows-Explorer as a base for file operations. So now, when I d...

Rename Multiple on F2
Hello! I remember in old FC that if you selected mutliple files and pushed F2, it would automatically go into the multiple-rename dialogue. In FCXE 548, if you do this, you get the normal single-file rename dialogure and only for the last file you selected. (I really like the single-file rename dial...

Missing Icons
There are a few icons yet missing for buttons on the action toolbars. I don't need to make a list, you can see which ones are missing by going to the "define action toolbars" dialogue. I think that all the built-in action commands should have a default icon. Otherwise, the user has to go f...

FC to set Explorer's active directory
When we get accustomed to using FC all the time (like I am), I find it very annoying that when I use the find/save dialogue in other programs that they start out their browse function in the last folder that Windows Explorer remembers. It would be really nice if FC could somehow set that "last ...

Re: Save Settings version 548
So, is there any chance we can have the option to save settings when FC loses focus?

Re: Toggle Thumbnail view
Hey, that's nifty! So what is "group index"? I can see the other buttons usually have "2" for their group index.

Toggle Thumbnail view
Hello! Okay, I am using Windows XP Pro SP3 and FCXE 547. I am browsing a folder on my C drive that has images, so I clicked to Thumbnail view. In the old FC, the thumbnails view button would toggle between thumbnail view and whatever icon view I was using previously. In this version itd doesn't togg...

Re: Can't Rename over unc address
Yes, the dialog window is enabled. The log file doesn't say anything except that the program started and the program exited (two lines). I can't get it to crash again, but I can confirm that the rename dialog won't work. It works on a windows network location, but not on the linux network location.

Can't Rename over unc address
Hello, y'all! I want to rename a file over a unc location. I am in \\server\folder on a Linux server. Pushing F2 or even selecting "rename" from the file menu has no effect. And I think it locks up some process in FCXE 547, because when, after that, I type in another network address, FC fr...

Define Favourite Toolbars
When we create a new favourite toolbar, normally, you create the toolbar and then add items. Well, in the current version 457, if you do this, the toolbar will be created, but anything you add immediately at that time will not get saved. Instead, you have to create the toolbar, then exit the edit pa...

Save Settings version 547
Hello, y'all! I think that we should have an option that FCXE will save settings when it loses focus. That way, I can access the most recent data regarding open tabs in the ini file - and I can do some external scripting - like getting the path of the directory last open tab into a variable that I c...
