I have had this same problem in the past with a couple of different programs.....the gdiplus library fixed it

If you right click on the small copy path button above each pane, there are more options to copy in there ....

is that the options you mean ?

What I should have said was, there isn`t a way to sort by extension using the existing filename column...

but you can indeed make a separate extension column

There isn`t a separate extension column yet...but it has been requested somewhere.... but if you were to sort by Extension, it would be different because the extensions would be sorted alphabetically.... .jpg .fla .fla .swf .swf whereas yours at the moment are just sorted by the type (or handler) wh...

I see that the list is being sorted by type as expected.

Maybe you mean "Sort by Extension" ?

I have just turned the drive bar on...

I have a USB HD and a USB zip drive and they are not showing question marks on the bar...

Is the external drive working properly usually, and formatted etc ?

I have just checked and it`s the same here, the Svenska.lng is a binary file in the 2007.10 release, but not in .298

it looks compressed to me ?

I know it sounds like a crazy question, but you aren`t editing the ini file while FC is open are you ?

I think there used to be a thread which had a list of bugs and feature requests that were actively being worked on, or at least were on the shortlist.....it seems to have gone. (or I can`t find it). Is there any place where we can check which new features and bug fixes are being worked on at the pre...

Yes it can....

Extras Menu > Settings > View > Custom Columns (profiles)

Inside there you can set up your columns to behave exactly how you want, to be sized, aligned etc

I also have this problem occasionally with files that have names that originated in Japanese... In FC (or TurboNav previously) I can not delete or rename them, and have to go into Explorer to do that... It`s obviously soumething to do with the fonts and possibly Unicode, but I would also like to kno...
