Multi-rename search and replace always excludes extension
When using the multi-rename dialog, the 'search for' field never seems to include the extension, regardless of whether 'Exclude extension' is set or not. Here's a couple of screengrabs showing this in action: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByERHoiNhFpNUThDRWlZUC1nYWs/view?usp=sharing In the regula...

Re: Favorite toolbar not working for certain application
I tried the %Dlg% option...ever since then, it worked, even though parameters are exactly the same as they were.
How queer :/
But thank you chaps

Favorite toolbar not working for certain application
Hi all, I use DJV view for examining image sequences so I thought I'd add a favorite toolbar for this app. So I've set up the program path: C:\Program Files\djv-1.0.2-Windows-64\bin\djv_view.exe And Parameter: %ActivItem% It's about as simple as it can get, but this opens the app, but does not load ...

Display matched text when searching contents
Apologies if this feature is already in, but if it is I couldn't find it anywhere. When searching the contents of files, it would be very useful to have a field that shows the actual text match. This is how grepWin does it, as you can see in this example: http://cdn.ilovefreesoftware.com/wp-content/...

Re: Run as administrator = no mapped drives
Thanks. I ended up running my startup script (that mounts the drives) using task scheduler, which should allow elevated permissions.

Run as administrator = no mapped drives
Title says it all really. If I want to have all proper permissions to do stuff in the program files directory, I need to run as administrator. But if I do that, none of my mapped drives show up.
Any idea why this is?

Re: [Feature Request]: Search files/folders exclude folders
Would be useful. I recommend using a different character in place of -, as - can be used in paths. i.e. just use an illegal character...or a ! that must be escaped if you want the actual character !.

Macro for clipboard contents?
Hi all, I was thinking about setting up FC to download some youtube videos to a certain directory by defining a favorite tool. For example, from a DOS prompt I'll just do this: youtube-dl <youtube URL> -o %ActivDir%\desktop\%(title)s.%(ext)s --extract-audio --audio-format mp3 So, a few things came u...

Re: Launch favorite program fails, invocation via DOS succee
That's it! It was the double quotes around the %ActivSel% macro that did it. Thanks Timon.

Launch favorite program fails, invocation via DOS succeeds
Hi, I'm trying to launch a program (djv_view) using the selected item. It fails every time, stating [ERROR] Image I/O - Unrecognized file: file name Yet if I invoke the same thing from a DOS prompt, or via Start > Run, everything works fine Essentially I'm just trying to do "C:\Program F...

File sequences
Hi all, I've had a look around for some functionality but I don't think it currently exists and I would love to see in FreeCommander XE. I do a lot of 3D rendering which involves a lot of image files sequences. It would be so great to be able to have a viewing mode to see sequential files as a singl...

Re: Changing Tree Font Color
Thanks for the reply joby,
Unfortunately, that only seems to work for non-selected tree items. No matter what I do, the selected tree items font colour will not change.
