Re: 600- high CPU usage

In Process Explorer you can open (per double click on FreeCommander row) the Properties dialog.
You could check the "Threads" tab if some FC threads have high CPU usage.

Re: Customize DOS prompt

Once the DOS window is open, I can go to Properties > Layout > Window position to set this, however this setting is ignored by Freecommander.
It works for me with FreeCommander XE on Win7/64.

The order in the list is important. The first matched attribute is used.
If you like hidden folders in some color, than set the order of the "hidden" before "folder".

In the current release: viewtopic.php?p=12440#p12440

Re: 595 Quit waiting for network thread to finish.

I have no network whatsoever, and I have to use a task manager to kill the program 0.0 In the release 597 you can find new option for that http://www.forum.freecommander.com/viewtopic.php?p=12896#p12896. If you have older release than define NetworkLoadOnPrgStart=0 in the freecommander.ini http://w...

Re: How to transfer time stamps when copying files/folders?

i do not see this option "Preserve file/folder timestamp" for copy/move operation
The option is not in the settings dialog.
You can find the option in the copy/move dialog at the bottom.
It is important that you use the option "Use FreeCommander" for copy/move operation.
