Re: Option to Disable Menu Bar or Dock Favourite Toolbar
As always joby_toss to the rescue!. I missed hide menu bar option as I was looking for "menu bar". "main menu" didn't catch my attention. And also the general option for the Favourite Menu is located to the far right and was hidden, clicking on the right arrow didn't cross my min...

Option to Disable Menu Bar or Dock Favourite Toolbar
I have Address bar, Drive Bar and Favourite Toolbar. With Menubar thats a total of four rows(bars). I don't need the menu bar as most of the options in the menu bar is already in my address bar/splitter bar. It would have been nice if there was an option to disable/hide menu bar so that would reduce...

# and size of selected files not shown until mouse release
I am reporting this as a bug because it doesn't happen in FC2009 , windows explorer, explorer++, Xplorer2 etc. The status bar doesn't show the total size and number of selected files (by mouse) before I release the mouse. It should be dynamic as it is in FC2009, windows explorer and the other popula...

Option to Create Multiple New Folders with one button
Currently FCXE has a command to create one new Folder It would be nice if there was another command for creating multiple folders where one could type the names of new folders separated by spaces(Unless I am not aware of a cryptic option to do that). This can go very well with another requested feat...

Copy File names of multiple files in one line
Currently FCXE option "copy name of files" copies file names on the clipboard one name per line. So when I paste clipboard on any text input box for one line, only the first name gets copied. I need all the copied files names on one line (separated by spaces) so I can input them as paramet...

Thumbnails Toggle Option not working
FCXE 650 : Added Thumbnails Toggle Options (Toggle current view with Thumbnails view) button in my standard toolbar. With detailed as my current view when I click on Thumbnails Toggle button (4 squares) the view gets locked on Thumbanils view. It doesn't toggle back to details view on clicking. The ...

Re: In details view size and no of of selected files not upd
[quote="joby_toss"]I get the same behavior in both programs for this. Hmm. If you get different behaviour in FC 2009 than I do then I am guessing it must be a setting difference. Wondering what that setting might be. Can you change any setting in FC 2009 to make it behave the way I get? If...

In details view size and no of of selected files not updated
In FC 2009 in the details view total size and no of selected(highlighted) files were dynamically updated in the status bar as the # of selections changed, without having to wait for releasing the mouse. I pointed this out before also hoping it would be fixed in the final version. Now the final versio...

Re: #641: Quick Filter font color hard coded to Black
Thanks for the tip. That did it.Karol wrote:Have you defined font color for Settings->Status bar: General.
Quick filter inherits this color. With QuickFilterUseParentFont=1 works fine for me.

Re: #641: Quick Filter font color hard coded to Black
You could try the setting in the freecommander.ini (Form section): QuickFilterUseParentFont=1 or QuickFilterUseParentFont=0 Thanks. QuickFilterUseParentFont=0 inherits windows color. Interestingly this option alsomakes the font small, hard to see. Whereas the default QuickFilterUseParentFont=1 make...

#641: Quick Filter font color hard coded to Black
This issue was not present in 638. Now the foreground color of quick filter text is black. It does not inherit the windows color. There is no option to chahge it either. I prefer dark background with light foreground for my eyes. I have windows XP. This may have something to do with fixing the bug i...

Re: Cannot move Favourite Toolbar up alongside standard Tool
Are you asking if you can move your favorite tool bar next to the menu bar? If so, RMB on actions toolbar, select customize actions toolbar..., select general options tab, select many toolbars and check show menu as toolbar. This will allow you to move your toolbars to the right of the menu bar. Th...

Dos Command line history cannot be disabled
FEXE#635. Disabling in options menu didin't do it. Still shows
history even though ini file shows correctly DosPrompt_HistoryEnabled=0
I even deleted the entry below from the ini file
[DosPrompt_History]
But FCXE creates it with the history.
