Go to Folder->Make Folder List. Output this to a text file and then you can do with that whatever you need.

I run FC constantly on laptops with and without monitors connected. I am also typing this on a laptop in a docking station with 2 monitors connected through a KVM. So I don't think that is the problem.

Could it be FC does not like the screen resolution you are using on the problem monitor?

Go yo View->Custom Columns->Customise.

The icon itself is the first one at the top of the screen which ralfso posted above.

When this happens, does the problem exist in other apps.
Also, if you use ALT+Tab to switch to another app then back, does this solve the problem?

The first thing I would do is upgrade to the current version.

If you use F7 to create directories, you can create sub directories at the same time. To reduce the number of icons on the screen, you could turn the drive bar into a drop down box and then only one instead of two. For drop down, go to Extras->Settings->View-Drives->Show. The colour options you are looking for are under extras->settings->view->colors/font.

This gives the majority of the colour options however I am unaware of any option to change the grid line colour.

With respect to the address bar try alt+G

Have you tried a fresh INI file?
