Re: Copy folderstructure with file type selection

Mey mgroen, I have my FC setup to use FC-Method when copying, and also I have my FC setup NOT to copy with a dialog. The way I use FC, I normally select files in the one pane and copy them into a directory in the other pane. Without dialog it is faster. If I need to copy using the dialog, I have se...

Re: Copy folderstructure with file type selection

I'm not sure if I understand, but probably like this, press F5/F6 and type *.pdf to filter field. FC Screenshot_03072021_172234.png I had to change FC's default copy method (Tools->Settings->File/Folder operation->General->Copy) It was setup as "use Windows", so I had to change it to &quo...

Re: searching on filename and/or file contents

Hey mgroen, I don't think it is necessary for Marek to implement an additional AND/OR operator. Looking at the image you posted, you have advanced options enabled Under File name: activate the checkbox <Regular expression> then put this into your file name field: ^(Bahnhof|.*) Tested this on your t...

Re: set marker for searchable/non searchable PDF files

This is a feature request: make FreeCommander able to set a marker so that the user is able to distinguish searchable / non searchable PDF files from each other? For example, by creating a column "searchable" and put an S (or any marker) on each line for searchable PDF files? (and not set...

Re: distinction between 2 different PDF files

To make it more clear what I need, I made a screenshot.

Are there really files with both conditions?
yes, there is one file which has both conditions set to true.

Also, I noticed that searching through .docx files doesnt give the correct results :( :(

Re: distinction between 2 different PDF files

... I just noticed: TotalCommander (another file manager) has a plugin that does seem to be able to do that. See https://totalcmd.net/plugring/pdfOCR.html Have not tested that yet. Might be possible to have a plugin for FreeCommander which similar functionality? Or (even better) built in in FreeCom...

Re: searching on filename and/or file contents

Try with *ziggo*.* I tried (see screenshot). Exact same result: no results found while there are matching results. Seems like this is a bug?? Also noticed one other thing: Now all of a sudden the option ""Regular expression" is visible while yesterday on exact same version of FC wasn...
