Favourite Tools and Menus
FreeCommander XE 2020 Build 814 64-bit donor on Windows 10.1909 x64 I have several favourite tools groups. I want some to show only as toolbars and some to show only in the menus. I've discovered that you can't have some of them show ONLY in the menu or ONLY as a toolbar. You can only do that for th...

How to use old icons?
I just installed the 64 bit version on another computer - how do I get the classic icons back?
On my workstation, I have the good old icons and I am so used to them and love them. On my other installation, how do I find them?

Re: Folder panel keeps scrolling
So, I use the copy button in the center splitter to move the files via FreeCommander mode.
View mode is in "list".
The folder pane where I am copying from has a LOT of files, so when it moves the selection position back to the start, I have to scroll for some ways.

Folder panel keeps scrolling
Whenever I move a file from one place to another or change the sorting, the position of the scroller keeps returning to the top of the list. It's driving me crazy. Every time I do anything I have to constantly scroll to the end again. FC is set to add new files to the end of the list. But if I move ...

Extracted Icons for Favourites Panel
Could it be possible to use the icons extracted from folders added to the Favourites panel?
We set custom icons on folders in windows to make them visually identifiable. FC can fetch these for drives, but it doesn't do it for favourites.

Re: FC fails to load network shares
m-a-r-k, It works most of the time. It's just sometimes that it doesn't work. I'd say it works 92% of the time just like it is expected to work. I've been doing this with FC for years. It's as if FC forgets about the network or something. When it *doesn't* work, if I go and load the path in Windows ...

Re: FC fails to load network shares
There is another issue - and it might be related, which is why I'm posting it in this thread: So I am copying a 50mb mp4 file from one laptop to another laptop, using FC on the destination machine, and logged in via admin share (using local admin credentials for the connection to the source machine)...

Re: FC fails to load network shares
Am I running as administrator? No, I don't run "as" administrator - however, I am logged in as a domain super admin with admin rights anywhere in the network. It is on my own workstation. 1. Helps the FreeCommander restart? Well, I guess it might. I'd have to put myself back into the mode ...

FC fails to load network shares
I am having problems with UNC shares. Since I am a network administrator, every day I have to connect to the admin shares of machines on my LAN. But sometimes, FC will not connect even though I can connect with Windows Explorer. However, *after* I connect with Windows Explorer, *then* FC can find th...

Getting a handle on drag-n-drop
Background: My Start Menu is waaaaay too big and fills the entire screen when I look at All Programs. So I'm organizing my Start Menu. Process: I have the Start Menu folder for All users open in one panel, and the one for my user open in the other panel. In panel one for my own start menu, I have my...

Re: How to set colour of toolbar background?
OOOohhh, I see what it is now. I have mine set to "Gradient System" which uses 100,100,100 for the gradient start - that's why the background is white now. Okay, well, if the colour settings get advanced enough, I would like to +1 the background colour for the tabbar and the toolbar backgr...
