(portabel 64bit, don't know about setup version) I've been searching for my FreeCommander Taskbar entry and didn't find FC because I was searching for the ...

Re: Favorites text too large - wont stay smaller.

Use the "Advanced appearance settings" like at: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/29244/customize-the-title-bar-and-other-system-fonts-in-windows-7/ This really changes the font size and does not zoom the fo...

Re: Copying from within a Zip/RAR

Zip and Rar are handled with different plugins with different potential.
Look at settings > Archiver plugins.

Re: ~ Folder Desktop shortcut to open XE ? ~

The second command looks good with a leading " " C:\Program Files (x86)\FreeCommander XE\FreeCommander.exe" C:\Users\J\Pictures\Screenshots You need the " for "Path with Spaces" The parameters are not needed but helpful. Your first command has "FreeCommander.exe" two times and an irregular path, so ...

Create the desktop shortcut with following target:

C:\FreeCommanderPATH\FreeCommander.exe /T /L=D:\FOLDERPATH\

/T = new tab
/L = left window

Re: Popup the context menu when click free space on file lis

You can reach the context menu directly by right-clicking on the ".." item on top of the file list.

This item has to be activated at settings > file/folder operations > "Show parent folder "..".

Re: Downloading the 64 bit Files

You'll get an additional entry "Donor downloads" at the "Beta Testing - FreeCommander XE" section of this forum (below "Translation".
There all donor-downloads (32/64 bit, setup/portable) are listed.

Re: Option to make folder / file list?

Not implemented yet. You can use "flat view", "select all", "sort by path" and "copy name as text" (or copy name with full path) for makiking such a list. Paste it into your editor and save the list. I know, complicated, but working. See also: http://www.forum.freecommander.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=...

Re: 682: Context New Menu will handle new Documents differen

What about using templates in this templates-folder and not documents?

*.mmat or *.xmmat for Mindjet-Mindmanager instead of *.mmap or *.xmmap

The MS-Office-templates in the template-folders are also *.dot or *.xlt or *.ppt.

Re: Directory not found

Ah, a screenshot or the names of the problematic folders would have been a quicker way to point on the problem. As joby_toss said, actually FCXE supports Unicode, so the error on opening the jpg inside is curious. Maybe an old answer from Dreamer for olf FC would help (http://www.forum.freecommander...
