Menu icon backgrounds: make solid black
I use a black background for the menus. With v770, the background for the menu icons is a gradient (yellow going to black). How do I make the background for the menu icons to be black to match the background of the menus?

Re: Previewing PDF files
my favorite viewer plugin is wlx64_uLister_4.0.0 --> you can preview almost everything with it drawback for some people: you're forced to sign-up at Oracle to be able to download Viewer Technology - I didn't care about it. Thank you. Do you have a link to the appropriate place at the Oracle site to...

Thank you. Unfortunately, that Sumatra plugin is ancient. The other one could be a possibility if it's more current.afh wrote: ↑15.01.2018, 13:23 try this: https://totalcmd.net/plugring/sumatra.html

Previewing PDF files
I want to be able to preview PDF files in FreeCommander XE's preview pane, preferably using PDF-XChange by Tracker Software. See https://www.tracker-software.com/product/downloads
How can I set this up? I've tried various options, but have yet to experience success!

Re: White border around custom icons
Here's an example, icons in the toolbar and the same icons in the FC panel. Thanks Dreamer. That's exactly the issue. It's interesting that it seems to only get applied to custom icons, not built-in icons. For consistency, it would be best to remove the extra white border (or make it an option).

Re: White border around custom icons
Could you provide a screenshot or/and upload the custom icon, please? I can't reproduce, tested with few icons. EDIT: OK, I can reproduce with some icons. Happy to hear you can reproduce the issue. If you need some example icons, just let me know. BTW, I'm not seeing a way to attach icon files (or ...

Allow changing foreground text color for Quick Filter
Quick Filter foreground text is always white. This makes it invisible when using a white background.
Can you allow the user to select the foreground text color?

Re: 760 - Tree no longer compatible with antivirus
Hold Win key while right clicking, use "ShowContextMenu64Bit=1" line in freecommander.ini file or use FCXE 64 bit. Thanks. Unfortunately, that didn't work. It seems to be a bug in FCXE v760, as right-clicking on a folder in the files pane works just fine (the Avira menuitem appears). Righ...

White border around custom icons
When using custom icons for the toolbar, a white border is created around the non-transparent pixels of the icon. Can you please turn off the creation of that white border (or at least make it an option)?

760 - Tree no longer compatible with antivirus
Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. FreeCommander XE v760 beta 32-bit.
The context menu (right-clicking) on a folder in the tree no longer shows the Avira antivirus menu item "Scan selected files with Avira".
This works properly in Windows Explorer and older versions of FreeCommander XE.

Dragging when "Full row select" is enabled
Even with "Full row select" enabled, FreeCommander requires dragging from the actual filename text (or icon) for drag-and-drop functions. Is there an option to allow dragging from anywhere in the row? This is especially useful for files with short filenames. If it's not an option, can you ...
