Filter when filename contains square brackets

Steps to reproduce: - Have a file "test [123].txt" - Set the filter to "test [123].txt" - Uncheck (!) "Regular Expression" As regex is disabled, I would expect the square brackets to be taken literally and to have the file shown, but it´s not. Apparently, even when regex is disabled, wildcards still...

Re: "Go to folder" dialog: Show last used value instantly

Works as expected for me. Start typing the first letter in the "Go to folder"-dialog and then I get the proposal. Same behaviour in the "New folder"-dialog.

Re: "Go to folder" dialog: Show last used value instantly

This works:

Code: Select all

[dlgInputBox]
AutoComplete=1
edit: Edit the file while FC isn´t running.

"Go to folder" dialog: Show last used value instantly

FC used to show the last used folder when you opened the "go to folder" dialog. This has been changed due to other reasons as I was told, see http://forum.freecommander.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=6221 Would be nice to have that feature back by adding a configuration option. FC already has so many confi...

Re: 672 - Recently used values in "Go To Folder"

Is there a way to configure this behaviour in the options?

Re: 686 - Browse for folder problem in "Go To Folder" dialog

Forgot to mention that: I´m using only one panel with the directory tree on the left. So, there is no inactive panel for me and "go to" should only open the selected folder in that panel.

686 - Browse for folder problem in "Go To Folder" dialog

Steps to reproduce: - Open "Go To Folder" dialog - Enter some text/path into the text field - Click on the button to the right to browse for a folder - Select any folder Result: The selected folder is appended to the existing text. When you try to open this it will of course fail. Expected result: S...

672 - Recently used values in "Go To Folder"

When I open the "Go To Folder" dialog with Ctrl+G, enter "c:", I think FC used to instantly display one of the last folders with that beginning.
Now, I first have to press Cursor Down to get that proposal.

Is my memory correct? Is this supposed to be this way or has it changed?

Re: Creating folders using invalid characters

With FC 672, using a slash leads to a folder and a subfolder being created. Same way what happens when using a backslash.
Not sure if this shouldn´t instead throw a warning like renaming does, but I also guess this could be handy for someone.

[fixed] Creating folders using invalid characters

Tested with build 671: - Create a new folder called "2014/2015" Result: A folder "2015" is created. - Try to rename the folder "2015" Result: Error message "The file/folder name is not valid: d:\test\whatever\2014/2015". Windows Explorer behaviour (Win 7) is to not allow some characters including th...
