[solved] Pattern of date in "Create Folder" dialog
Hello,
when you press F7 to create a new folder and then start to type "2", FC completes this to the current date, e.g. 20170707.
I would like to always use the pattern like in "2017-07-07". How can I do this? Is this configurable?

Renaming to upper/lower case does not work on USB-drive
To reproduce:
- Have a USB-drive with FAT32 partition
- Have a file abc.txt
- Rename it to ABC.txt
- Press Enter
Expected result:
File should be named ABC.txt afterwards
Actual result:
It is still abc.txt.
Workaround:
Rename the file to "xABC.txt" and delete the x in a second rename.

Where does FC store the values for "New Folder"?
Hello,
in the dialog to create a new folder (via F7), I start to enter characters and FC auto-completes with some recently used value.
I would like to delete/change those old values. Where does FC store those?
I couldn't find it neither in registry nor in my user profile.

Re: X-button for a tab should get visible when hovering mous
Yes, optionally is always good.
Middle button is assigned to do a double click already.

X-button for a tab should get visible when hovering mouse
The "X"-button for a tab should get visible when hovering the mouse over it, so the tab can be closed without opening it. This is useful for tabs which would take a long time to load when opened, e.g. disconnected network drives.

[fixed] UNC-paths are displayed with "1:" instead of the server name
Steps to reproduce:
- Open UNC-path like "\\myserver\c$"
Result:
The window title shows the path correctly, but the tab shows "1:c$".
Expected result:
IMHO this should be "\\myserver:c$" or "myserver:c$"

Re: Label cut off in profile settings
Confirmed.
You have to click and drag the column divider to the right.
In the "column profiles" section, the header reads "ShellContentType" and the column stays opened while the one in "Programs > Default actions" is reduced to width=0 when releasing the mouse button.
I guess this is something ...

Re: long time, no new public release
I wonder how many of the non-paying suggestions have made their way into the latest donor release?
And I wonder how many of those may have been programmed by you.
Always interesting to see how many people think that the author of a free or open source software owes them something. Are you asking ...

Confirmed with Build 720 64-bit.
Though, it only happens when you select from bottom to top.

Re: cannot unselect with ctrl-click
I cannot reproduce the problem on my Windows 7 box using "FreeCommander XE 2016 Build 720 64-bit donor".
You could compare the config files from both your computers ("AppData\Local\FreeCommanderXE\Settings\") using WinMerge.
