Re: 553 - Drag&Drop Slow Confirmation with many files

I can confirm. Drag&Drop is quite slow. I'm just moving 2000 Files via Drag&Drop. FC XE doesn't react it seems that it hangs. I see only the Wait cursor rotating around. Testing the same backwards and move my 2000 files back via Contextmenu I get the same it's also slow means FC XE seems to ...

Re: New Bug

Another observation is that sometimes clicking in a sub dir of a locked tab will open that dir in a new tab. I have the same. Win7 x64. I run all locked tabs with the setting "Lock-navigation to subfolders". Since I have set all my Tabs starting in the root of a drive (e.g. N:\) never a n...

Re: 553 ctrl v to paste fails sometimes

I have the same. But I think Ctrl+C fails and not Ctrl+V. Or have you a Workflow where Ctrl+V failes? Would be good to do to crosscheck it.

"Copy full name as text" should also work for Folders

"Copy full name as text" doesn't do nothing when only a folder is marked. So I must keep care if I have a file or a folder marked which Keys to press to get the path. The function should work for folders and files. Remark: I use a Logitech G10 and have programmed a key to copy the path sin...

Re: How to show History of a locked Tab with a Mouseclick

Now with FC XE 551 I still have it that when change a Tab I first have to open the history to navigate to the last used path. This should be working without first: Alt+Arrow down -> 1 I use History per tab so it should be no problem. http://img709.imageshack.us/img709/9875/hw8725.th.png It's very ir...

Operations which need Admin permissions fail

If you do any operation like rename a folder in C:\ProgramData you need Admin permissions. The Windows Explorer shows a UAC-Dialog to allow the operations. Click OK and it will be done. IN FC XE it fails because it shows only an Error-Dialog that the permissions to do so are missing. Also the FC XE ...

Re: quickview position

The Screenshot is made in the latest FC XE 0.0.0.550.
If your Dialog look's different maybe it's good to check:
Menu: Help -> Info
to see which Version you are running.

Re: quickview position

Check your settings regarding this example:

maybe it will work then. Otherwise make a test with a empty FreeCommander.ini to check out if it depends on the INI.

Re: How to set default file list sort?

- Menu: Extras -> Settings ->Custom columns
- Add new view:
Image
- now all new tabs should use this view.
