I can't make the Move dialog stay open so I can change the Plain view button state (button state is always ON).
Auto close for successful operation option is unchecked, but the dialog doesn't stay open unless I choose Use FreeCommander method.

FC creates this file on first run. You can check Help->About menu to see where it's being saved (usually, XE portable version saves it in Settings sub-folder and XE installed version saves it in AppData ). As my previous quote from the Help file states, that's the way Folder->Compare function was designed. I don't know if it's technically possible to make it work with one panel also, but I think you're the first one trying to achieve that.

I don't understand why you're trying to use Folder->Compare function using a single panel view?
And also why are you using a maximized single panel instead of View->Dual/one panel option? Just to have the splitter bar visible? You'll run into problems while doing so.
