Why was this option removed?

I like to use the feature in FC that lets me double-click the white area in the file-list to navigate to the parent directory.
With no option to disable Full-row select you end up always clicking on a file because the row occupies all the white area.

I'm facing a strange situation.

If I delete,copy or move from the right pane to the left one, it works ok

But when I attempt to do it from the left pane to the right one, it never works.

I've tested with the same set of files, it always works right to left but not likewise

Any idea? :roll ...

I update my initial post with a new link to the FastCopy docs and fixed the quotes issue for all the folks who browse to this thread.

I actually keep my FreeCommander at version 845 just so I can keep the old icons.

Really, I *never* liked the "flat symbols". The old icons are awesome.

The old icons are so clear and so very familiar. I don't even have to think when I see them - I just move to the right icon. I never want to ...

For me it happens every time. I'm using build 830 now. I'd say it started sometime in the Spring, maybe? Not sure when it started, but now it's consistent.

That's fine with me - I'm not really concerned whether you have 7zip in the context menu or not.

The whole point of my thread was to see from someone (Marek, maybe?) whether there's a fix for me to get it to work or if this is a bug.

You get the context menu when you select the options during the 7zip install on your system.

Well, I right-click on a zip folder and use "Extract to [foldername]\". The zip file extracts, but I cannot see the new folder in FC until I push the refresh button.

Sometimes my File menu gets out of whack - it takes on some strange spacing. I have not been able to figure what causes it though.
I have to close and restart FC to get it back to normal.

Normally, the menu bar isn't so spaced out. At the moment it seems to be stuck that way.

I use 7-zip to extract files from zip folders. However, when I do this, FreeCommander does not display the files I've extracted. I can't remember what version it was when this began - it used to work fine, but maybe for the last few months it no longer shows the extracted files. I have to refresh ...

Ah, I do have it to start "as admin", in fact. Let me undo that and see if it makes any difference.

Actually, no, it wasn't running as admin. So that shoots both possible fixes.

In my Windows 10, I, too, have the setting unchecked.

Again, in Windows Explorer, when I create a shortcut, the .exe is not present in the shortcut name - it is created without that.
Only in FC does the .exe get appended to the shortcut name.

AH - it only does it if I drag-n-drop.
