Just wanted to thank for the new update public beta. It solved a bunch of issues I had with FC (performance mainly) and dissolved all the thoughts of going for some another file manager.

Choosing Detail View (Ctrl+F2). Try for instance open some folder with plenty of files and now scroll down/up. With white_default it is more snappy and faster. With any other colour scheme it is not and to show lines with name, size, date etc takes ...

When changing a color scheme to any other type (like Dark Grey Flat Default) than using default (white) the performance of rendering the view of files/folders is rather slower. Using normal white color scheme is fairly OK. I am using Details View (Ctrl+F2).

Is that posssible to somehow set the wide for a freecommander window when using two panels view
and when I switch to one panel view (F10) it will narrow the window?

Yes, in Explorer this work fine. I can even open like 210 files at one. I select them and hit Enter. It simply opens.
In FCXE when I select them and hit Enter, it asks wheter all filles are to be opened. I say YES Foobar opens only the last file of ...

I'm not sure whether this is specific to Foobar2000 only. I'm using it only.

Well I bought a new computer with 8-core i9 and the problem is gone. It takes a blink to load the panels now. The process is the same but it takes about 0,1 sec to load now. Changing system scale causes problem in ctrl+alt+shift+"+" (size of columns according to thier names)

Reproduce:
Start FreeCommander
Change system view scaling (e.g. from 100% to 125%)
go back to FC and use Ctrl+Alt+Shift+"+" command

Result: narrowing ...
