Just select your .flv file in FC, press F3 to open the viewer and then F9 for the options dialog.

This bug is described as fixed in v2009.02a, however it is an incomplete fix.
Now the viewer no longer blocks volume control, but other multimedia keys - play/pause, stop, previous/next track - are still blocked when the viewer window has focus.
Also, my keyboard has two other "special" keys for MS ...

I reported this bug before, and it has been fixed in v2009.02 for the main window, but the same bug in the viewer remains.
Steps to reproduce Open an mp3 file using internal viewer
Try adjusting volume using multimedia keyboard

Renaming after click when the listview isn't focused
Clicking selected file when the listview isn't focused initiates renaming instead of simply focusing the listview. This is very annoying when you just want to switch back to the panel without changing selection.

Many modern keyboards include additional multimedia and internet keys (volume up/down, mute, play/pause, back/forward etc.)

Moving cursor over filelist causes flickering
Using FreeCommander 2008.06c on Vista SP1 with Aero on, when I move mouse cursor over the file list, it causes the items to flicker. The issue is more pronounced in the details view, but still visible in the list view too.
Also reproducible in beta R387. By comparison, there's absolutely no flicker ...

Many mice now feature two additional buttons (X buttons), usually on the left side, that perform back/forward commands.

Using version 2008.06c on Vista SP1.
All the tooltips that appear when I highlight a file have question marks in the "Date created" field.

BTW, maybe defaulting to the INSTALL FOLDER might be the best thing to do anyway, since individual people can create their own layouts if they wish.
I think this is terrible idea. Applications shouldn't write anything into their program folder during normal use, that's exactly what AppData folder ...
