there is a good chance for recovering your lost data because by default FreeCommander makes backups in your settings folder. find the FreeCommander settings folder by clicking: Help - About then click Tools --> Restore all settings... Thanks alf5000. That got my favorites back. No idea what trigger...

Just lost all my favorites!

I just added a new folder to the favorites and all my favorites are gone! Is there any way to recover? Please help.

Just a quick follow up to let folks know I figured out what is causing this. Its Google's Backup and Sync desktop app. Its doing the icon overlay to indicate the state of the file being synced. The grey and red Xs indicate issues that need to be addressed. The missing icons seem to be files with the...

Here you are. I took a look at the directories in windows explorer and I didn't notice anything odd about them when viewed there. Grey X appearing on folder icons

I just found a series of folders that have a grey x appearing on them in the lower left of the icon. I can't seem to dig up any info on what that symbol is indicating. Does anyone else know?
