Re: folder not showing in up, can't figure out why.

The "Tree" and the "File/Folder list" have their own settings for hidden/system files.
Maybe this is the difference.

Check at
settings > File/folder list > Tab general
and
settings > Tree > Tab Management

You can use Shift & F10 to open the context-menu of the file and then scroll to "send to" by down-key

Re: Show folder diff + copy marked?

Hello Peter,

don't know what "MC" is but your described topics are possible with:

Main menu >>> Folder >>> Synchronize...

There are a lot of options you can set like you want.
All described at: https://freecommander.com/fchelpxe/en/Synchronize.html

Re: 795 - Favorite toolbar disappeared

Could you send me all your settings? Hello Marek, I've tried myself to analyze it. In a new portable FCXE v795 I build the favorite-toolbar from zero. Favorite-toolbar is visible and ok. So it doesn't deal with "FreeCommander.fav.ini". So I copied my old "FreeCommander.ini" to the new settings-fold...

795 - Favorite toolbar disappeared

My favorite toolbar disappeared. There is also no context menu on toolbar to get to the settings for favorite toolbar.

The settings for favorite toolbar are still in freecommander.ini but not visible.
If I turn back to v794 with same ini they are visible.

Re: Set Timestamp bug

Even without entry in changlog there is something different with the function of the buttons "copy created > modified" and "copy modified > created". But still not working properly. I've tested with v792, all buttons for changing timestamp are working correct. v794 nothing is copied, neither with bu...

Re: 794 - Search doesn't find umlauts in utf-8 files

Hello Larsen,

I don't know how you created this text-file.

If I save this file to my HD and do a search for containing text "ümlauf" it isn't found.
If I open the file in PSPad and only save it once more (also UTF-8), the file is found for containing text "ümlaut"

Set Timestamp bug

FCXE donor v794 (don't know since which version) The buttons for "copy created > modified" and "copy modified > created" are not working properly. They are not copying the dates and times and changing the checkmarks of "created" and "modified". To set a proper date and time for both you have to set ...

Re: File sort order

You should have a look at your column profiles.
There you can define the sorting of the columns.

Re: Need a script

I don't know if I understand right, but I think: 1 Copy and 2 Delete is equal to the action "move".

So you can move all elements, mark the elements in the new folder an drag them with ALT and left mouse button to the original folder (= make link)
