I totally support this request (*Edit: both Undo and Redo, combined with a list of any previous actions so that they're individually selectable, see the Back/Forward button of Firefox as a visual example, just that the list of previous file operations wouldn't get cleared when undoing one of them ...

To me, the basic advantage of the NC mode is that I can press the space bar to select objects.
So I would like to see a few thing as separate options when in NC mode and Details view (probably works for other views as well):
