Okay. Would you post a screen shot of your opening screen in FC?

Re: Open FC with the specified folder expanded in Tree windows.
Curious.. Can we communicate through our emails? It's easier than posting screen shots on this forum. No one seems to be interested in your issue, except me .
Do you have access to my email address?

Re: Open FC with the specified folder expanded in Tree windows.
Here is a screen shot of my Management tab settings. Wish this forum would allow picture uploads directly!! Hosting site style is antiquated.

Re: Open FC with the specified folder expanded in Tree windows.
Hi again, Dave. I think the Tree must be locked open. My Tree settings are as follows.
Settings > View > Tree > File system tree > One tree for both panels selected.
Auto resize for main splitter changes selected.
Try that. Let me know.

Re: Open FC with the specified folder expanded in Tree windows.
Hi Dave, I have a similar scenario. It is possible to do what you requested. Here is the procedure, assuming your Camera folder is on your D:\ drive. Procedure 1) Open the Settings dialog box (F12). 2) In the Start program, click the Start/TEMP folder tab. 3) Under Start folder > Start with the foll...

Re: Downloads folder display issue
Hi again all, I found the problem. I was playing with some different color ideas a few weeks ago, in an attempt to design my own dark theme. I changed the font color to the same dark color as the background color in the Settings > View > File/Folder list > Color by file type area. It's now fixed and...

Downloads folder display issue
Hi all, I've used FC for a while and really like it. When I choose the Downloads folder in the Tree, the right pane only displays large icons with no column info. I think it's because the fonts and background are the same color (black). I can't see where to fix that. All other active panes show just...

Thumbnails
Hi all,
Is it possible to set up this program so that no matter which folder images are stored in they appear as thumbnails? For now, we have to set each folder individually. Thanks.

Re: Folder display in right pane
Actually, it did work thanks Dreamer but I ended up with three panes. I guess I want to see the little manila envelopes like Explorer but with the intelligence of FC, which MS has missed since Windows 3.0 🤣. I really like FC. It does everything I need without the omissions and limitations of Explorer.

Re: Folder display in right pane
I tried to upload my image to postimages.org but when used the login, none of my current information worked. I'm not going to bother. The method for posting images is way to convoluted and dated. I don't see why we can't just drag them onto the page or use an upload image button. This forum software...

Re: Folder display in right pane
Thanks, Horst. Would you give me the exact steps. I tried that but it didn't work. Likely my error.

Folder display in right pane
Hi all, I want to display the folders in the right pane the same way Explorer does. I can't find the setting. For example, in Explorer I click the C drive and all its folders appear in the right pane, I'm using a two pane set up just like Explorer. Thanks. (I have a picture of an Explorer example bu...
