Unfortunately, I can't get it to open new tab in the current instance. What I found was if I run it like FC.exe /C /T path, then it doesn't open in new tab of current instance. But, if I run it like FC.exe /C ...

I think minimal Macro support already exists in FC. You can use :: Tools > Favorite tools > Favorite tools edit.
