After testing with various settings I conclude that the mouse wheel function will only work when the viewer panel is in focus, i.e. click in the viewer to set it in focus or activate the setting of the viewer to automatically set it in focus when the file is opened.

Works fine for me. I did notice, one has to click on the PDF in the viewer to activate mouse wheel and the shift and ctrl keys.

I can partially confirm your results using default settings and enabling Link to file list as you described in your post.

A text file will only change the focus to the viewer if it has a UTF coding. ANSI Text files will not change focus.

I can confirm that the name is center aligned.

I do not see this as a bug. If the panel is large enough, there is no issue for me.

2. Right click on any *.exe file and select "Pin to Start"
3. Nothing happens

Thank you for the explanation. I've created a new column profile with auto selectable view accordingly.

One question remains, why is the auto selectable view removed when comparing files?

Have several tabs in both panels. Add a column in one of the tabs, for example in the left panel. Cycle through the tabs in the left panel and all of them also have the new column.

This behavior is also present when testing using default settings. It is irrelevant if the tabs are locked or not and ...

I changed to FreeCommander_Dark leaving the field "Use dark mode icons for color schemes:" blank.

I can't confirm completely:

following Mareks instructions, i.e. leaving field "Use dark mode icons for color schemes:" blank does solves the problem
but if after a restart I select the color scheme "Dark_Grey_&_Silver_No_Colors_simple" in the field "Use dark mode icons for color schemes:" and ...

My system had been offline for ca. 1 month. After updating all software, I'm experiencing a bug in File Explorer in combination with viewing files on android phones.
