And the '^' (carat or hat) is a wildcard in unix that matches the start of a string. But in this case wasn't needed. Cool.

If they have id3 tag included, then it's easy... If id3 tag is missing, it will be very complicated, probably impossible. How do I find if the id3 tag is there? Also, in unix (it may be vi, or sed. someplace in unix, it's been awhile), when you search/replace, you can use a carat '^' for the beginn...
