Re: Custom Filters Disappearing
I already have those backups, and I back them up with a program as well. I added new filters and found they are added into FreeCommander.fav.ini. None of the backup files for over a month have the filters in that file. Weird. I made a new backup from Freecommander. Manually backed up the FC backups,...

Re: Custom Filters Disappearing
I would say only been using a profile for more than a year. I had a profile for maybe a year. Then it was gone and as much as I tinkered to figure it out, just recreated it. Been fine now few months and then disappeared again. Which made me decide to see if it happened to anyone else. I only update ...

Custom Filters Disappearing
Hello. Am wondering if anyone has any thoughts to this. I noticed this twice. I can make a custom profile for search. It will work for days/weeks. Then one day, POOF. Not custom profile listed in search's drop box. Thoughts or methods I can try to restore them from a backup? Thanks. FreeCommander XE...

Re: Trying the 7-Zip Plugin
Ah, you got it. I do use the 32bit. I did not think of that. I change the plugin file and now it opens archives without giving me the error again.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re: Trying the 7-Zip Plugin
Darn. I tried your method still a no go. Deleted everything under "C:\Program Files (x86)\FreeCommander XE\plugins" Grabbed that Total Commander file. Extracted and copied into mentioned folder. C:\Program Files (x86)\FreeCommander XE\plugins\Total7Zip /64 7-Zip History.txt 7-zip.chm 7z.dl...

Trying the 7-Zip Plugin
Hello. I have been trying to get compressed files to open from FreeCommander using 7-Zip. I can not seem to make that work. My desktop uses c:\programs\freecommander\ and a virtual uses the set default (that other people use) C:\Program Files (x86)\FreeCommander XE\ Testing on my virtual first, I tr...

[SOLVE} More Details on Copying?
Hello. I am wondering if there is anyway to show more details when copying/moving files. https://www.mediafire.com/view/euec57ltc8x3ofb/2023-01-21_19_36_57-2_Running_Actions.png/file Basically if there is a way to see the full path of file is being copied from and to? Or is that a Windows thing, or ...

Re: Auto Resize Columns - Is disable possible?
I somehow have fixed my issues, by setting once more my individual values at Column profiles > Profile settings... > Profile name > [choose any profile] > Define columns [icon] So please try to go over them once more. Or in worse case scenario, create a new one from stretch [with the old desired se...

Re: Auto Resize Columns - Is disable possible?
I am also having issues still with auto resizing even though I changed settings. I have my profile set up to "auto resize for name column" to 50 (even 35 I tried). Seems to work on the folder I am in but as I switch folders/drives, the column sizes changes to other values it seems. However...

That combo worked, thanks. I no longer am getting two tabs opened (in either pane) anymore. Just the one.

FreeComander Keeps Opening with Two Tabs
A few weeks ago FC has been opening with two tabs, even when I close them. So when it opens it goes to my default folder normally (say C:\). Now it will open with a tab for the default folder and a tab for my last used folder. So say I close that second tab. I am now on C. I will go to D:\temp\. I c...

Lost Context Menu Ability
Windows 10 FreeCommander XE 2018 Build 770 32-bit public All of the sudden I have lost the ability to right click a file and bring up the context menu. Even with the keyboard button. Works fine with Windows Explorer so it has to be confined to FreeCommander. It was working fine last night when I rig...
