[...] When moving a file from one folder to another, receive the error: "The system call level is not correct" [...] And what did you do to get of this error? Long story short, after executing some complicated and messed up BAT script a folder was created on my C drive that could not be m...

Re: Thumbnails not showing
OK reinstalled earlier version. Still no thumbnails. So, I'm guessing that FC is relying on something from the OS that's not being provided. What would that be? Although I am using Windows 10, this sounds similar to my problem, as is also concerns Thumbnails: https://freecommander.com/forum/viewtop...

Re: ICO files turn their graphics to their predecessor when renamed or moved
1] Go to a website with free icons iconsdb.com [...] Of course I did no test this outside FC. But it not my fault that FreeCommander is so handy that I use it for ~99% percent of file handling operation, with the remaining ~0.9% with Mp3tag and the rest with other programs. In other words: Windows ...

Re: Lack of auto-Reload causes blocking of Multi Rename window - a need for Undo button?
I am reminded by a pop-up window with an error I think, the exact text of the message might help. An error occurred in the application What other did you expect? The one showed when you try to rename a file which is in use. i.e. Operation failed ? What difference would it make? The issue comes down...

Re: Settings non-alphabetical order is counterproductive
What about existing users, it would be confusing for them. Yes. Assuming, that they do not know the alphabet and / or are unable to notice that items on a list are arranged in accordance to how letters are placed in the alphabet in reliance to each other If you don't know how a function is named yo...

Re: How to adjust this forum to remove that wasted space at the bottom?
I was able to slightly reduce that area with CSS #page-footer .copyright { display: none !important; } #phpbb > div:nth-child(13){ display: none !important; } But apparently this area changes greatly when you zoom in and out, just like various other elements. And it is a manifestation of one of the ...

How to adjust this forum to remove that wasted space at the bottom?
Does anyone know how what CSS or JavaScript code can be applied to this forum, in order for that ridiculous tall area at the bottom to either become significantly smaller or disappear completely? This area wastes precious space on the screen, which a member of the forum has to encounter every time t...

Recycle Bin is re-read every time a tab is closed
Before I describe the bug I must explain, that below by Recycle Bin I will mean that which opens when for example in the right Panel after clicking on a Favorite icon / shortcut with the Parameter set to -T -C -R=::{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} And other caveats are: 1] That Recycle Bin hol...

During cutting ans pasting of files between programs one of them gets blocked
I have this issue when: 1] in some other software I tell it to open selected file in FreeCommander 2] I cut the file out from FC 3] I go back to window of that other program [because I want to use it to open another location from it within FC] - and it gets blocked to the point where usually I have ...

How to replicate this bug: 1] Go to a website with free icons https://www.iconsdb.com 2] Download one icon in few distinctive colors e.g. red, green, blue 3] Delete from the download folder 1-2 of them 4] Download that very same icon once more - but this time in different color versions e.g. black, ...

Re: Settings non-alphabetical order is counterproductive
Nonsensical is what you claim Whatever option was named as, it will be easier to find if it will be listed alphabetically - thus most benefit from it would have new users, who do not know what there are looking for, or know what they are looking for but do not know where it is located [thus have to ...

Re: How to open search results from Everything in FreeCommander?
Once again thank you for those work-around solutions, but it seems that my way of solving this problem was to set $exec("C:\Program Files $(x86$)\FreeCommander XE\FreeCommander.exe" /T /L="%1") $exec("C:\Program Files $(x86$)\FreeCommander XE\FreeCommander.exe" /T /R=&q...
